Pick Up Ultimate Games

 

There are currently two weekly Pick Up games running in the area: in town, we play every sunday at Lansdowne Fields (now open for the summer!) and starting May 4th, pickup is coming to the West Shore on friday nights at Colwood Elementary on Sooke Road. Everyone is always wecome, so please come out and play!

Westshore Pick Up


Westshore Ultimate Pick-Up


Westshore Ultimate Pick Up Night will be run this once again this spring and summer ulti season.

Here are the details: 

Friday nights, 6-8 pm, starting May 4, 2012
Colwood Elementary Fields, 2129 Sooke Road (just past Royal Roads U when heading West on Sooke Road) 

All are welcome, VUPS members and non-members alike, and newcomers to the sport as well! 

There's a playground right beside the field for the children of young families while their parents play. 

Anyone downtown is encouraged to make the "long trip to Colwood" over the course of the summer to play on a Friday evening - what better way to work off the work-week and perhaps head out for a social gathering after the game. 

Looking forward to seeing lots of people playing Ulti on the Westshore!

Lansdowne Fields Sunday Pick Up


Official Sunday Pick Up times are 1pm - 3pm at Lansdowne Middle School, which is on the southeast corner of Hillside Avenue and Shelbourne Street. Please come out, everyone is always welcome.

The field location we have booked under VUPS is "S3".

It can be assumed that pick up is happening at Lansdowne on any given weekend. During the “winter” months, there are generally messages on the VUPS Forum from people who are planning to participate.
